In order to change the rotation, one has to stop the rotation in motion and since the fan rotates a complete 180 degrees for each type, horizontally and vertically, this takes some time to wait for it to come to the desired spot. Stopping the rotation in one direction causes the other rotation to kick in (side to side or up and down) so one must press the button quickly or has to start over. I suppose I could just stop the rotation and move the fan itself? Whatever, it seems like this could be improved. The fan is great for circulating air. It is very quiet but powerful; it definitely moves the air. I would recommend.
