The 32 packs contain 8 subpacks of 4 batteries each sealed in light plastic wrap which keeps them isolated from eachother and easy to manage. The 32 packs are easy to store 4″X4″X1″ heavy cardboard construction that can be easily opened and resealed. Very neat and tidy with no little batteries rolling around and falling out. The packaging will be handy when reused for storing small parts when repairing smaller items with tiny parts, they are easy to index. Amazon Prime shipping was quick and efficient and arrived well within 24 hours of ordering. The big PLUS is that the driver left the parcel right in front of the door as requested and not 40 feet away on top of a garbage bin just because it’s 5 seconds quicker. That’s greatly appreciated. It would have been perfect if he had rung the doorbell just to notify me, as requested, so I could beat out any porch pirates. Wasaga is rife with those low life thieves.
The best expiry date of October 2034 is a comfort to me, each battery is clearly labeled with it. I’ve had a good experience with Energizers longevity and stamina and I measured these units at around 1.615 VDC which is factory fresh. Most retailers never have a VDC that high at time of sale. And, above all, unlike Duracells, I’ve never had corrosion problems, even with remotes forgotten for a few years. Had minor leakage only a couple of times after years of sitting dead, no damage to the device. That’s nice to know when you have dozens of devices on hand and dont want to constantly remove and reinstall 🔋 🔋 for lesser used devices. It’s handy that they’re always instantly usable and protected from leakage.
One day, all batteries will have an active lifespan of 20 to 50 years at full powered use, but our economic system isn’t ready for that yet. Energizer is the best we’ve got right now.
