**The C-Plus Super Serum does sting a bit and make my skin a little red very briefly after application, but it subsides super fast. Smells great and skin feels great. Must moisturize once the serum absorbs into skin.
I suffered from severe acne during my late teens and early twenties and so now have acne scars. As I aged and my skin began to lose elasticity, etc, the appearance of the scars became worse. During a consultation with a plastic surgeon he suggested that the first thing I should try is to improve the overall health of my skin and that would in turn improve the appearance of the scarring. I spent a long time doing a lot of research about what would work best (Vitamin C, Vit E, Green tea, etc.) and looking for something reasonably priced and not full of toxic chemicals. I decided to try TruSkin Vitamin C Serum. I think the thing that kept me coming back for more was the very positive experience I had with the company from the start. I received a helpful and informative email from Erica. It was not pushy. It was encouraging. She encouraged me to try another 30 days of the serum and if I was not happy with my results I would be refunded. I decided to go with my gut and trust that this would be a positive experience. 60 days in (actually, sooner) I could absolutely see an improvement.
I am now using not only the C SERUM, but the HA SERUM, the EYE GEL, the C MOISTURIZER CREAM, and the RETINOL MOISTURIZER every day, twice a day. To clarify, I use the C Moisturizer in the morning and the Retinol Moisturizer at night, everyday. I do not use both of those twice per day. Also, a few times a week, I use the TEA TREE CLEAR SKIN SERUM and the C-PLUS SUPER SERUM. I don’t think they are meant for daily use. I tone with organic witch hazel twice a day as my first step, and as my final step, twice a day, after everything has had a chance to absorb, I finish with organic Argan or Apricot Kernel Oil.
I am very diligent. Maybe once a week I may not do my nightly regimen if I am super tired. I think that it’s important to be consistent.
Because I use so many of the products I can’t say for sure which of them may be the most helpful or if it is the combination of all of them, but I see a significant improvement in my skin and I have received compliments, which I think is the true tell. My skin looks smooth and my pores are significantly smaller. The fine lines and wrinkles are diminished. The overall appearance and health of my skin has vastly improved and because of that, the appearance of the acne scarring has improved. I know that nothing is going to make the scars go away. I just wanted an improvement and that is what I have seen. I also feel that I look younger and that is a bonus!
I would not hesitate to recommend any of these products to anyone. As I mentioned, the customer service is also amazing. Erica has been extremely responsive and also proactive in reaching out, which is so refreshing. She seems to genuinely care about my experience and satisfaction.

I am a thirty three year old African American female with tan skin. For years I have struggled with dark spots and textured skin. What I mean by that is visible pores and just roughness. Maybe because the only real care I was giving to my skin was a Dove moisturizing bar and letting the water dry on my face. Sometimes I would use a coffee scrub or a sugar scrub mixed with various other ingredients (honey, salt, and olive oil.) This worked wonders. The year’s do pack on to the face and skin. Let’s be honest. I was looking dried out! Like my skin needed a moisture infusion. I bought the true skin moisturizer and Super c serum a year or two ago. Once in a while I would use them. The first time I tried using these products consistently it broke me out. Like black heads and little zits. Not cool. Now that I’m thinking about it my skin seemed to be purging all of the gunk and bad stuff in my pores. All I know is that I was not a fan. Fast forward a few months. I love this stuff. My face has never looked better. My wrinkles are less noticeable. My skin is soft and moisturized. Also my dark spots are almost completely gone aswell. I have glass skin. This stuff does tingle when you first put it on. Sometimes I like to wet my fingers to spread the product. Love this stuff. Just got a second bottle. The lid did come apart when I opened the bottle. It was sealed super clean and professional. With a plastic layer that had the perforation. All I had to do was retighten the lid and press down to reseal the squeeze part of the glass dropper to the screw lid. I’m just so happy with this product. Worth every penny. I’ve also been using bliss pumpkin enzyme mask. Take the time to be kind to your skin! It’s very important. Just a warning. I was very oily the first month of using this product consistently. I also use this c serum twice a day. Honestly I enjoy an oily wet looking face. Lol. Just be warned. I also don’t wear makeup. At all. I probably could get way wonderfully with some concealer. My skin always looks dewy and smooth with this product. Super moisturizing and healthy. Please try! Lol. I’m drinking the coolaid.
