I used on top and bottom track of sliding glass doors to restrict opening for air circulation, but no wider opening. 2 are fit on top rear edge of those patio doors to prevent lifting out of the track to remove doors. This depends on door structure to work. Ordered a second set for other sliding windows. Would recommend to a friend.
