Now Greg cleans the floors of a house with 3 big dogs and 3 cats! He has been FANTASTIC at keeping the fur tumbleweeds to almost none (its a lot to ask of any ground gremlin). I love that I do not have to clear out the basket…although I do wish he would empty mid sweep cause sometimes there is a LOT going on on the ground. All in all I am super happy with Greg the Ground Gremlin.

The directions also must be for a different model since there is voice instructions instead of the “beep beep” in the manual.

I previously bought the m210p and thought the mopping portion would be a great addition to the family. In concept it’s fantastic however I’ve had nothing but issues with this one specifically. It wouldn’t ever return to charging statio. When low even with setting enabled for the feature it wouldn’t mop some of the wood floors even though it’s set to do so. And my least favorite issue when you’ve had enough of it jacking around and try to control it manually ot won’t even go in the right direction essentially going in circles or doing the opposite I’ve seen that this is a relatively well known issue with this specific bot. Lefant does great I think this one may have A. Either a software quirk or B. May have an issue with quality control

I didn’t want to spend a ton of money to try a robovac out in case I didn’t like it or it didn’t work well, but I really needed a bit of help keeping up with the vacuuming.
For the price I paid, I am SO happy with it. It buys me so much extra time—I don’t have to vacuum myself nearly as often.
It can’t do everything. It CAN get up onto high-pile rugs, but it isn’t able to pick up very much on any kind of rug, high or low. Hard floors are what it does best because it really relies on its spinny brushes to bring the dirt to its lil sucky vacuum mouth. That works great on hard floors, but barely at all on any rugs. I also had to robovac-proof the areas I want it to cover because cords are a big problem for its spinny brushes—it gets stuck, and sometimes can pull things by the cord that aren’t supposed to be pulled as it tries to escape. I get the feeling that these are typical problems for most robo vacuums?
I don’t see those as cons, just realistic expectations of what a robo vacuum can do. Personally, because it can get tangled up with cords, I don’t feel comfortable running it when I’m not in the house—I only ever manually tell it to clean, rather than scheduling it, so I can monitor it a bit. But for the work it saves me, I’m totally fine with that. We have two cats and a very busy house so the floors get bad FAST. Our robo vacuum gives us a fighting chance now against all the dirt 😂
The way it looks and moves makes me think of a horseshoe crab. We named ours “Litterbug” and we love her 🥹

Bien évidement, il faut veiller à ne pas laisser trainer des chaussettes, fils d’alimentation ou lacets comme pour tous les modèles autonomes, une préparation et amélioration des lieux est souvent nécessaire.
Une bonne connexion Wifi dans toute la maison est aussi très importante.
Au déballage, on remarque une très bonne qualité de fabrication, la qualité des plastiques semble aussi bonne que ce que j’avais avant, il faut espérer que l’électronique et batterie le soit tout autant, seulement le temps nous le dira.
L’installation s’est faite en 10 minutes avec l’aide du petit carton de démarrage rapide: (malheureusement seulement en anglais)
-Retirer les films de protection sur la base ainsi que la partie avant de l’appareil.
-Mettre la base proche d’une prise avec un espace vide d’au moins 5 cm de chaque coté du robot.
-Mettre en charge et allumer l’appareil avec l’interrupteur sur le coté arrière droit.
-Installer l’application lefant avec le QR code du carton de démarrage ou depuis le store sur votre téléphone et créer un compte.
Pour créer le compte rien de plus simple, entrez votre adresse mail, le mot de passe désiré dans la case de choix et de vérification, et entrer le code que vous recevrez par mail pour valider votre adresse.
-Ajouter l’aspirateur dans l’application (il faut choisir le modèle M1) et ensuite l’application va rechercher et normalement le trouver. A ce moment là, l’application va vous demander de sélectionner votre point d’accès Wifi et entrer le mot de passe, au bout de quelques secondes, il sera connecté.
-Mise à jour de firmware du robot
Attendre que le robot soit chargé à au moins 50% et mettez à jour le programme firmware, ça prendra 30 secondes à 1 minute et évitera d’avoir des bugs de fonctionnement ou communication.
-Lancement de la cartographie.
Lors de la première utilisation, le robot va devoir créer une carte des pièces, attendre qu’il soit chargé à 100% avant de lancer le création de la carte pour obtenir un résultat le plus précis possible.
-Lancer l’enregistrement de votre première carte.
L’aspirateur va scanner de façon un peu anarchique les pièces lors de cette première création, le but étant d’analyser les volumes et obstacles, à moins de 20%, il repartira à sa recharge automatiquement, si certains espaces ne sont pas analysés à 100%, il complètera sa carte lors de prochains lancements de nettoyages.
-Premier nettoyage:
Automatiquement le système va calculer les trajectoires à employer pour être le plus rapide et efficace en fonction de la cartographie réalisée précédemment. c’est à ce moment là que l’on comprends l’intérêt de la cartographie réalisée en amont.
Les +
– simple à installer
– Moins bruyant que mon ancien robot
– 3 réglages de puissance d’aspriration et débit d’eau.
– Toute la maison est aspirée en une fois (80 m2) en puissance moyenne (suffisant pour un sol carrelage ou parquet)
– L’application est très bien faite et en français (aucun problème constaté de mon coté)
– Il est possible de savoir exactement ou se trouve le robot si il se coince.
– N’abime pas les meubles puisque qu’il ne les touche pas (sauf dans certains cas de manque de hauteur de l’obstacle)
-Monte facilement sur les tapis sans croire qu’il est au bord du vide avec des tapis noir.
– Connexion avec Google Home en 15 secondes
Les –
– Le système de nettoyage bien que pas encore testé semble peu convainquant et fait gadget.
– Le laser lorsqu’il analyse les volumes perd la tête et voit des volumes qui n’existent pas lorsqu’il rencontre un miroir (la solution est le mettre une zone interdite sur la carte à l’emplacement concerné pour éviter qu’il se cogne dedans…)
– Si un obstacle est trop bas, il se cogne dedans… et il faut jouer sur les zones interdites pour éviter les frottements et rayures.
-Le rouleau de ramassage qui se trouve sous l’aspirateur n’est pas très large par rapport à d’autres modèles…
Mon avis est personnel et il est réalisé dans mon cadre de vie. Je ne suis pas confronté à tous les cas de figure et je suis certain de ne pas avoir soulevé toutes les qualités et défauts de l’appareil.
Concernant le système de Lavage du robot, je reviendrais sur cet article pour le modifier si j’ai l’occasion (ou envie) de le tester.
Dans tous les cas, je suis très satisfait des premiers jours d’utilisation du M1 et j’espère qu’il sera aussi robuste que mon vieux Roomba de 2020 (qui fonctionne toujours très bien d’ailleurs)

Pero llegó la hora de jubilarla, y no quería gastar mucho (ya que las baterías terminan por … ya sabéis).
El caso es que he mirado muchas, he preguntado por las de mis amigos, y finalmente vi esta Lefant (el nombre es un poco sórdido) y me llamó la atención su precio y sus comentarios, decantándome por ella finalmente.
He de decir que es silenciosa (tiene 3 niveles de succión) y no tiene nada que envidiar (en cuanto a limpieza) a mi anterior Roomba. Además, al no tener rodillo no tienes que andar limpiando pelos y cosas que se puedan quedar atascadas. La capacidad del “estanque” de polvo es más que suficiente.
Se pierde un poco cuando ha de volver a la base, pero de momento no he tenido que ayudarla nunca en las dos semanas que llevo con ella.
Se conecta perfectamente con Alexa. Eso sí, te recomiendo que uses la app Smart Life directamente (ponerla en modo de descubrimiento, etc) en vez de la app original o Tuya.
También he de decir que es “graciosa”. A veces se detiene un segundo para “pensar” y, con las patas redondas de una silla (de esas que están en L sobre el suelo) intenta saltarla. No puede y se retira. Es todo un entretenimiento. La primera vez que la puse, tenía aún la Roomba en el suelo. Lefant llegó por detrás y … le insistió a la otra. Cosas de robots, supongo.
Es muy recomendable. Primero porque funciona bien. Segundo por su precio.
