The answer is yes if your definition of cooler is less hot. It does not feel particularly cooler to the touch than other pillows. In fact, I have pillows that feel like they’re cooler than the room temperature but are not as good at managing the heat while I sleep. This pillow does a better job at dissipating heat and I wake up with a less sweaty pillow case. I also don’t wake up as often in the middle of the night to flip the pillow over. So while I’m happy with this pillow’s performance compared to other pillows, it’s not the sole answer to all my temperature regulating problems.
Coolness aside, this pillow is very nice. It comes packaged in a way that expresses high quality, and the materials back up that impression. I fluffed it and let it air out for 24 hours as recommended, and was rewarded with a lovely semi-firm comfy pillow. I used all the extra filling because I like a more beefy pillow. I got the queen size pillow, but I think it’s even bigger than that, which I really like. Once it’s stuffed in the included case and placed into my bedding case, it ends up being a substantial size that retains its shape really well. I also like that the included case has a firm side and a more smushy side. Now all I need is the justification to spend the money to get a second one.

After several weeks of use, I am glad I found this one. The pillow has just the right amount fluff and support. I like that it comes with extra fill that I can use to adjust the its firmness, but I didn’t need it. I’m a side sleeper and it was great right out of the box. The outer shell of the pillow is soft and very good quality. I am so glad that I found an alternative to my Claritin Pillow.
The reason I only gave it 4 stars are for two simple reasons. First, the cost. This product is very comfortable, but there is no magic to its construction. The fill appears to be just finely shredded memory foam. The extra fill doesn’t even come in a storage bag. It is wrapped in plastic. If you open it, you will need to find a separate storage container to put the excess fill. For this price, I would expect more. Second, this pillow is advertised as being “cool” to sleep on. However, I find it warmer than other pillows to the point it seems to trap heat. My wife has the standard Coop Pillow and I feel that it is “cooler” than this version. Of course, this is very subjective and you will need to test for yourself. Overall, this is a great pillow that has endless adjustability due to the extra fill provided. A pillow for everyone!

I’ve been suffering from neck and shoulder pain for MONTHS! After sleeping with this Coop for the first night, it was like a miracle. No neck pain – which graduated into a headache later in the day. No shoulder pain at all. And to think all it took was a good pillow.
It arrived sealed and compressed in plastic, so run it through the dryer on AIR cycle. A big size, I bought a king and it fits perfectly in my king pillow case. It is high loft just as it comes, which works perfectly for me. Also, there is a separate package of extra full if you want it fluffier. It does NOT go flat overnight. It just cradles your head in the perfect alignment for your neck and back. I’m a back sleeper to start with, but often turn on my side during sleep. Head, neck and back are aligned, again, no neck pain and no shoulder pain – just a wonderful soft supportive place to lay your weary head.
Pillow seems to be well made, nice smooth seams and zipper. It has an outer case and an inner case containing the foam and fiber filling, also with a zipper. Care is necessary when opening or closing this compartment as the contents tend to get easily snagged in the zipper.
And finally, my Coop pillow STAYS COOL! I don’t need to turn it over in the middle of the night, I stay cool headed all night! I can’t say enough good things about this pillow – buy it!

Haven’t tried in summer yet but it’s very cold to the touch. From what I heard it heats up just like any other pillow, but look. The price difference wasn’t too much from the Eden, at this time it’s like $33 difference for the Queen size, its a buy once cry once thing. Laying your head down on the cooling feels great, even if it’s only… say 5% improvement in temperature and quickly warms up, I think it’s worth it. But be aware that this thing slides around like CRAZYYYYYYYYY if you use without a pillowcase, which is recommended for maximum cooling.
I’m still yet to find the perfect amount of filling but unless you are Hafthor Bjornsson there’s enough filling for everybody. But the zipper CONSTANTLY gets caught. Extremely frustrating and same issue on the Eden. When it gets caught it makes little crease which make it more likely to get caught again. You need to pinch it along as you zip.
Hey I look now and the price has reduced by $10 since I bought it lol. Cmon mate

I like the fact that you can pull the filler out (and it fits in the extra filler bag that they provide!). My one recommendation, if you do need to pull any filler out, make sure you pull it out across the entire length of the pillow. I pulled out the middle section and for a night or two there was a massive dip in the middle no matter how much I ‘floofed’ the pillow, but it sorted itself out after that!
