I only have one problem with it – I tried this rower out and found it uncomfortable due to the item’s ergonomics: the seat is not much higher than the foot plates, so the knees are sticking up too high and get hit by the bar when pulling. The seat should`ve been at least a bit higher for a comfortable rowing experience.

-VERY quiet! I mean VERY, VERY quiet! Reviews of other machines would mention the noise was loud or not too bad but this one is like whisper quiet!
-Very smooth and quiet movement of the seat on the rail.
-The magnetic wheel mechanism is smooth and quiet as well.
I could not be happier than am with this rowing machine and that has nothing to do with the price.
this is not one of those products with the caveat you might see in a review like “a good value for the price”! This is a very good machine for a great price!
