I left everything laying out on the table for two days and most of the smell is gone. While you do get a lot of things, there are definitely some of them that I will never use! The plastic zip bag is horrible. The headband and cuffs are very tiny and would fit my 7 year-old granddaughter. Now on to the brushes, it would have been nice it they had been labeled with what they are used for. I used the largest one for setting powder and one for blush. The powder pretty much fell off off bristles. I didn’t like the smaller brush I used for eyeshadow because it is so soft, I had no control over where the powder ended up. I love the large teardrop shaped silicone sponges. I have no idea what the fingertip velvet pads are used for. I think most of the smell came from the silicone bowl for cleaning the brushes, however, it looks like it will come in handy. The brushes are cute but I think you pretty much get what you pay for in brushes and the quality just isn’t there. If I had actually paid for this, I would have returned it.

The purple shades are fun and pretty close to the color shown. Everything looks and feels well made! Almost everything is soft, smooth, and squishy to the touch. The makeup brushes are soft and gentle, and a great travel set. The puffs don’f absorb a lot of product, and spread product evenly and smoothly. The sponges do absorb a lot do products and liquid, but they blend out product perfectly. The headband set is stretchy and a fairly universal size. The silicone brush cleansing mat keeps my brushes and sponges clean with barely any effort. The travel storage case is my favorite part! It sturdy and durable, and holds a good amount of items. This is a great set for travel!
