Who knew? We bought this for our downstairs office/TV room. We have a nice sized bath and a walk in closet, so by adding a bed, we officially gave ourselves an extra bedroom.
With a separate entrance downstairs it is great for guests. They have a microwave, coffee pot, cafe table, and a beautiful view of the mountains. Want breakfast? Make it yourselves.
We tried it out a few nights and were impressed at how well we slept on it. We actually have a couch that lets out into a queen bed that has some brand name mattress, but the one time we slept on it, in a wind storm, we said we would never do it again. It was horrible.
We have a Sleep Number bed and if you took away the bells and whistles, I would say this mattress sleeps just as well. Go for it.
UPDATE: we have slept on the mattress a few times and it was as nice as our Sleep Number. However, we discovered something fascinating.
Hubby and I both have Apple watches. Since we upgraded in December, it suggests that hubby has sleep apnea- 10-25 breathing interruptions a night. Me, none. We recently had company for several nights and let them use our bedroom and we took the mattress in a box bedroom. NO SLEEP APNEA recorded. Was it a fluke? Nope. When company left and we moved back to the $5000 Sleep Number bed the sleep apena readings went back up. To assure ourselves, we have been switching out over the past 2 weeks. Whenever he sleeps on this mattress, his readings are normal.
I am no doctor and he has not seen a doctor, and it is possible something else is causing false readings, but whatever it is, his sleep is normal on this $300 mattress and abnormal on the Sleep Number mattress, no matter what number he uses. We usually always keep SN on 100 becasue we like a firm mattress but he has experimented on all numbers. The new mattress is also firm, which we like. So, if your watch tells you have sleep apena, try a different mattress.

We purchased the 12 inch King mattress to replace a spring mattress we had invested a lot of money in. I have numerous ruptured discs in my back and problems with my SI joint, so it is difficult to find a bed that does not leave me sore in the morning and cause me to spend 45-50 minutes stretching in the morning. The description for this one has the same buzzwords you see on most mattresses about pressure relieving layers and etc. I can say that this is the first mattress I have had in years where I wake up in the morning with no pain. It quickly expanded to 11.5 inches, so did not quite make it to the 12 inches advertised, but I’m not sure that is critical because it is all about the feel. This is on the firm side of medium firm, but is very comfortable. You do not sink in, so side sleepers will find this to be very comfortable. It is cool compared to other foam mattresses we’ve had as well. I plan on buying a second one for our weekend home.

I’ve got a lot of things in addition to that causing me pain, and it only just occurred to me after my diagnosis that my ancient mattress probably wasn’t doing me any favors.
The mattress was very easy to set up, and I ended up waiting 4 hours for it to expand, and it was at 9″ by the time I went to bed, and since then has expanded to the full 10″. There was also no smell at all when I took it out of the packaging. I immediately noticed a difference after the first night, because I woke up the next morning with no new pain, the first time that has happened in a very long time. I’ve had this for less than a week but I still love it and it is helping me tremendously. I can’t vouch for its longevity but if you need an affordable mattress and suffer from chronic pain, I absolutely recommend this one.

I have not experienced any odor of mattress, the thickness I ordered was 14″ so it is of great thickness with many layers. Mattress was extremely easy to place on frame. The overall quality of the mattress is of high standards. Thank you for making a good quality mattress. I still have 178 days of my free trail to sleep on the mattress. In 30 days I will return you let you know how it is. Thank you for making such good quality mattress.

Easy to assemble, be careful when cutting through the box so you don’t cut into the mattress. Its vacuum sealed into a bag. There was no smell and no noise when you roll around on it.

I would classify this as a very firm mattress. I would steer clrar of this matress if you are looking for something soft. However, if you’re looking for a firm mattress on a budget, this is it.
