The leggings in the store only come in S/M or L/XL and the L/XL fits more like a L or even a M. I wanted XL but since leggings typically run small/tight I got XXL and they were perfect–not so loose that they slid down and not so tight that the waistband rolled down. 2) They are long enough to provide full coverage. Most leggings are too short–if you pull the legs down to cover your ankles you wind up with a crotch gap, and if you pull them up all the way the bottoms will be halfway between your ankle and your calf. (I am 5 ft. 6.5 in. with long legs for my height.) 3) They’re not too thick or thin–thick enough to be warm but thin enough to be flattering, not bulky. 4) They’re SOFT. 5) They’re not too expensive so you can buy multiple pairs in different colors, and there is a nice variety of colors.
Update: I am subtracting a star after having purchased two more pairs of these leggings and discovering some inconsistency with the product. The purple pair is just as nice as the black one but the white pair is a different story. They’re the same size yet the waistband is about an inch smaller and the elastic in the waistband is thicker and less stretchy, so guess what? The waistband rolls down. Oh well, I guess two out of three ain’t bad.
